Joker of the Night

Joker of the Night

A Poem by Moth Phoenix
"

eh.. ?

"

Black hair and glowing yellow eyes,

a face painted white and lips red.

A crazy colorful hat,

and one weird and strange voice.

He watches the city folk from his perch,

waiting to pounce on his pray.

No one wants to see his ugly face during day,

nor become a victim.

Tied up and put to the test,

under minimum time to release.

Humiliated and tortured,

you can hear his evil laughs.

A sadistic man he is,

one who never stops at anything.

The words they say hope to shield them,

he knows how to break them down.

At anytime he or she could be next.

A tricky fellow he is,

causing fear and pandaemonium.

Who is this man?

No one speaks his name,

no one really can see his face.

He's only known by his jokes,

the Joker of the Night.

To me the joker of the night could represent loneliness that taunts you hardest when it's dark... anyway you look at it very nicely written.

I am a big fan of the Jokers work and I like the way you did this. I like that there was no fear of the Batman. The only thing is that the joker has green hair.
