The Fairy Hunter

The Fairy Hunter

A Poem by Moth Phoenix

Here comes the fairy hunter,

tough, handsome, and fearless.

Bow and arrow ready at the go,

but where has she gone?

His green eyes scan the forrest,

searching for her light.

Long, silky, brown hair,

sweet, sultry and sly.

She hides in the berry bush,

as her heart races against time.

Hazel eyes at the ready and feet at the go,

for anything to come her way.

For two forbidden lovers eyes to meet,

is only the start of the riddle.

Afraid and scared of what might happen,

a chance both willing to take.

A step closer to love,

two hearts beating.

His quest has been abandoned,

and her trust has been broken.

Love is a powerful concept,

one that brought them together.
