Fireflies

Fireflies

A Poem by Moth Phoenix
"

Haven't written much in a while.... it's a cute song :+)

"

There the little fireflies go,

we watch their majestic show.

I close my eyes in your embrace,

and hope we never leave this place.

You whisper in my ear,

all the things I want to hear.

The fireflies light up our eyes,

showing me that I'm your prize.

Don't ever let me go,

because I'd reply to you with a no.

The stars twinkle high in the sky,

I lay here and try not to cry.

This feeling is so surreal,

and it feels so unreal.

I whisper all the words you want to hear,

and I'll gently kiss your ear.

The fireflies light up our eyes,

showing me that I'm your prize,

Don't ever let me go,

because I'd reply to you with a no.

You and I are the fireflies,

we're lighting up peoples eyes.

We fly quietly in the night sky,

you hug me as I cry.

There the little fireflies go,

we watch their majestic show.

This should be a song, and not just like any other song, I mean, one of those songs that brings crowds to their feet when sang, or makes girls in the audience cry. This is all just my weird way of saying, you've got some serious talent :)
This piece is beautiful and you obviously know how to use your pen ^-^
