I Hope

I Hope

A Poem by Moth Phoenix
"

Long distance relationship love <33333333

"

I text you every single day,

that isn't enough.

You call me almost every night,

I want more.

We say we love each other,

the distance is evil.

One day I hope to wrap my arms around you tight,

and my arms will stay like that.

One day I hope to feel your lips on mine,

and your sweet voice in my ear.

One day I hope that I can lay with you in the sun,

we can close our eyes and fly away.

Every day I dream of us together,

and I can feel your arms around me.

When I hear your voice my heart beats fast,

and there's no way to stop it.

To have the real thing is all I want,

but I guess I'll have to wait for that.

One day I hope to feel you in my arms,

and never let you go.

One day I hope to spend forever with you,

and that will be eternal bliss.

One day I hope to get your sweet kiss,

and make me fly away.

Jesus Christ. It's like you've read my damn mind. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one out there with a distance love.

The poem is beautiful. Better to go slow and easy. Enjoy every new moment with someone. Amazing how things can be wasted when we rush in with close eyes. I like the feel of love and desire in your words. A very good ending. A excellent poem.
