Deep Cut

Asked my friend out, he just shot me down, cried myself to sleep. this was 2 years ago and i haven't forgotten.

I watch you in school everyday,

all I do is cry.

I can't accept the fact that you don't wanna be friends,

what happened? 

We used to laugh together,

now we can't even look at one another. 

I guess you can't see past the innocent crush I had on you,

I want to look into your eyes of blue. 

I'd tell you that you made me cry myself to sleep,

because you gave me such a cut, so deep.

I'll wait here so that maybe one day,

I can look you in the eye and tell you what I need to say.
