I miss you...

I can't stand going like this,

but it's a part of life.

To go through this makes you grow,

even though it hurts like hell. 

I feel a smile come across my face,

but I miss hearing your voice. 

I know you're still gonna be here for me,

all I want to do is hold your hand. 

I'll wait to talk to you once again,

they say absence makes the heart grow fonder. 

I wish and prey that I'll get to talk to you soon,

and that one day I could rest safely in your arms. 

Sometimes I wonder if we could ever be more than friends,

if not you're still my friend. 

I care about you so much,

for once maybe I'm not that obvious. 

I'll have to sit here and wait for you,

and when you get back I'll be table to tell you.

That I missed you.
