Paint a Picture

This is for...him... =]

I paint a picture just for you,

only I don't use paint. 

Not every word is perfect,

then again no one is. 

No, I don't use a pen or pencil,

water colors are a no. 

It wasn't that hard to paint,

just tough to get it started. 

No oil paints were needed,

or any utensils for that matter.

I looked at the blank page before me,

and only thought of you. 

I hope one day I'll see this hanging,

but never by a thread. 

No I don't need those colored pencils,

don't give me that sharpener either. 

This painting was done without all that,

it was done with more. 

I created this artwork with love and happiness,

a heart full of you. 

I saw you standing at the opposite side of the door,

and I went running for you. 

Last time I say this, I don't need those,

pens, paintbrush, pencils, no! 

I've used something more beautiful to paint with,

maybe you can guess.

I'll give you my art piece, here you go,

I did it all with words.

Karina this is absolutely magical......however maybe you could have ended it like this,

"I created this art work with love and happiness,
I'll give you my art piece,
Here you go,
A heart full of love."




This line " A heart full of love" seems to be the culmination.........after this line the poem seems to enter into another realm that "takes from the first part.
