I Miss You

Ever have that great friend who you just seemed to drift away from? well I've been through that and I still miss him, I see him every day.

I can't take it anymore, 

I hate admitting it out loud. 

I still miss you,

but do you miss me? 

Every time I hear that song I cry,

you're on my mind every day. 

How come we can't rekindle our friendship?

What went wrong between us. 

You could always make me laugh,

no matter what kind of day it was. 

I want to feel that way again,

but I'm afraid I won't. 

It's been two years since you gave me that last look,

and it's one I'll never forget. 

The times of staring at each other and laughing,

now I'm sitting here crying. 

I wish I was brave enough to give this to you,

but I don't have the strength. 

You look through me as if nothing ever happened,

are you hiding your sadness deep down? 

There's only one thing I can tell you,

and that is I miss you.
