FriendsA Poem by Moth PhoenixJames, the kid who I wrote that poem about, I wanted to be his friend again, sadly it didn't end up happening and I wonder if it ever could.
Decode my eyes and tell me what you see,
close your mouth and listen to my me. What I say to you means something more, can you hear it? I only wanted to be your friend, I guess you didn't. Now that it's been messed up, I don't know what to do. I watch you during class, you seem to never see me. Do you really hate me? Even though you're the new kid. I don't get you but I want to, maybe in time we can be friends. I'm not sure why you chose her and not me, as everyone knows I get jealous easily. I thought we would be good friends, now I can see I was wrong. Can I ever rebuild the bridge I walked over, or will it remain destroyed forever? All I want is to say hi to you again, but I'm afraid. Please don't lie to me if you're just being nice, don't lead me on. Tell me, and I'll feel better. All I ever wanted was for you and I, to be friends. © 2010 Moth PhoenixAuthor's Note
