![]() Coma WarA Poem by Moth Phoenix![]() You go into war yourself, you come out a stranger.![]()
Their hearts are set on their country,
but no one sees the obstacles ahead. It's all very new to the untrained eye, and can turn ones life around. Adrenaline pulses through their veins, whoosh whoosh! Handsome face covered in soot. Clear eyes under black masks. Faces dirty and fatigued. Time has gotten to their heads, almost as if it's stopped. Has a million years gone by? No one can remember reality. War has used it's evil hands to erase everything. No one could ever smile again after what they saw. Coming out of war is like coming out of a coma, dazed and confused about the real world. Standing there looking at old pictures of ones self, can't remembering who they once were. © 2010 Moth PhoenixAuthor's Note
