Message in a Bottle

Message in a Bottle

A Poem by Moth Phoenix

I died when I left you, but don’t think you lucked out.

I am stronger than before, much wiser and kinder.

Who would have thought such evil could lead to such paradise.

You buried me somewhere dark, but I found myself again.

A light that’ll shine through even in the darkest of depths.

You took my heart and made a sacrifice,

a slice and a cut, my happiness for yours.

You took my self respect, my confidence and self worth.

Just another girl to you, nothing special or sweet.

Tell me though, tell me, did you ever really love me?

No? Well great, and there you go like a message in a bottle drifting out to sea.

Like it? I loved it.
This piece is so relatable.
Sad and Tragic but the pain made you stronger.
The scars made you who you are.
You didn't allow that pain to turn your heart cold.
Instead , you fought back and are healing yourself and learning. ❤
#still kind

I love it. When our hearts get broken so msny questions arise. You feel like you will nrver find your way out but there is always light at the end of the tunnel.
