Snow King DrugA Poem by Moth PhoenixI'm hypnotized by the falling snow, creating memories I thought were lost. Lost within my subconscious. Countless memories that bring you back, bring you back for the worse. Each snowflake is a reason, a reason why I will always hate you. Falling rapidly, or floating quietly. Why can't I forget you? I was addicted. Sober for 4-years of you. But your feeling still plagues me, sucking me back into your storm. I know how to get out now, stick a needle in my arm and inject strength. Those snowflakes fall into snow piles, those piles melt and die. Just like your memory. Nothing in my blunt, nothing to crush and snort. I threw those needles away. You are the snow king, and you were my drug.
