A Love Shared

Thank you I said, love’s, loved me for a while.
But for now,
we can let her go.
And I know, oh I know,
shes been here for awhile, but is she now ready to go?

Cuz’
all I want is love’s, love pouring,
overflowing all around me.
And I go crazy for love
everytime I think of that face and
that smile. Oh that smile that love
smiles, so sweet
It hurts to let her go.
To know, what I now know.

To love, love
is a dangerous thing.
She cuts me sometimes
like a knife
that slides in slow.

But I don't care,
so I’ll remember love in moments,
in times our passions raged
and we were one,
one being, being love.

That’s why I wanna let love flow
like a river splashing cross the banks.
My love, free like the wind as she dances, and dances
and dances through your hair
and I laugh as you smile,
I think I’ll sit here for awhile
and dream
of the love, two lovers shared.
