How Does Someone Get This Sad?

After living your whole life going through hell,
No one gave a damn and no one could tell.
You're barely holding on,
Giving up means that you're gone.
I see the tears fall from your eyes,
You can't look back cause you've grown shy.
But know you have a place,
You just have to keep your pace.
When the good times have all faded away,
Think of the ones that need you to stay.
Everything nice has turned to the bad,
And s**t, how does someone get this sad?
