We'll make it through this virus, and everything else that's going on. Thank you for writing such a wonderful, beautiful poem and in the meantime, I hope you and your loved ones are doing good and you're all safe. Sending all good wishes. (:
I agree my dear friend.
"The power of God
To heal us,
Learn to care
It is the only hope left."
Our countries need to lead with concern, kindness and help the countries in need. Hello my friend.

as much as this virus is keeping us all apart, I do believe, as your poem expresses, that it is reminding us that we haven't been together enough, even before this occurred...
strong voice here, sette.
The virus has made us re-evaluate our lives and adjust to a novel set of circumstances, so hopefully we can learn from this experience and be more caring and compassionate in the future. Not sure what God has to do with it, though.
Sette ...i was so uplifted just to read your title :) yes .. many lessons to be learned from all this .. such a big machine our economies .. constant rolling and grinding .. and we along with it .. rolling with punches ..grinding out our livelihood as best we can ... hope and Faith elevate us beyond the material world .. verifies our spiritual need and hunger ... Ma's lessons of "sit up straight" .. "wash your hands" "stop picking your nose" ;) all ring true through the ages eh!? thanks for sharing your breath of fresh "Hope" ... right here at the Cafe'

This is the best thing I've read about seeing the good in these trying times. So many people write about the doom & gloom side of it, but we can always find hope if we set our minds to it, which is what you've done here & it encourages others to do the same. I have noticed lots of people following your message, as if these times have become so harsh, to be kind is like a backlash to the background noise of greed at any cost. I feel the USA isn't doing this very well, whereas there are many other countries that have come together for the greater good & bringing the covid levels down to amazing lows. We could do that in the USA if people cared, like your poem suggests, but many people only care about themselves here & that's the rub. Love your message. Wish this could sprout wings & take off big time in more people's hearts (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
Sette - what you say is so true. We must keep our faith and do our best to watch out for ourselves and the ones we love. You do the same as you preach.
Take especial care - Dave
