Oh my the uncertainty of a new crush, hopefully a new love. To follow your heart or to follow your mind. I know the agony found in the decisions to be made. Fortunately most of mine turned out to be the right ones. Of course there are always those few that one agonizes over. The key, I think is to carry on. Be your best and do your best, it'll all work out in the end.
Take care - Dave

it is not yet the right time my friend for this emotion to be focused on... take care always
there is apparently something there which must be explored. only we ourselves can answer that. nothing ventured, nothing gained as they say. never an easy decision. i think that the heart rules even when the head says no ...

They say 'follow your heart', but I'm more a firm believer in following the mind, rationality over emotions and logic above everything else. One might argue that the heart decisions lead you to the best of places but at what cost?... But yes, the real question or dilemma is when you're ready for it.
Interesting subject matter, one that I often dwell upon...
The heart controls the mind when it comes to romance. This is not always the smart way to go, but it is the one that makes us feel the best. The angel/devil in your brain is trying to work this out. I liked the honest way you expressed this. Lydi**
Life is hard. We pay for every deed and action.
What path to follow,
Am I ready for this?"
if we don't try. maybe we shall lose. Thank you my friend for sharing the amazing poetry.

This sounds exactly as back-and-forth my own mind might sound, if I was ever bowled over again (which doesn't happen anymore, I'm too jaded!) The part about "mind over matter" sparks a bunch of layered ideas from times when fighting something about to submerge me. I honestly do not miss this kind of strong attraction anymore. When that would happen, I stopped looking out for my own interests in life. So I very much understand your parting questioning (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
Ahhh those questions.....you know when you get to that point that what you are feeling is a least as real as you want it to be. Heavy sigh...the stages of love that leave you breathless and scared, knowing that around the corner destiny has shaped something that will always be in your favor regardless the outcome.
Your voice is lovely in this poem dear sette. You speak so eloquently of blossoming love with all of its anticipation and hesitation. Lovely, lyrical lines. I hope your dreams come true. The answer to your last line- you will just know...xo
