IKIGAI

an ancient japanese philosophy for a reason to live

I attach myself

To IKIGAI these days,

I am trying to deem.

Where my life is leading to.

 

I have to find purpose

In my life now,

That is what IKIGAI

Has been teaching me all along.

 

I may lose the battle,

But not the war.

IKIGAI is teaching me to

Accept the atrocities in life.

 

With IKIGAI,

I am at the road

Of bringing my esteem back

And to continue living my life.

I had never heard of Ikigai before reviewing this poem, so I had to check it out. It seems to be a pretty solid philosophy/technique. Please keep me advised regarding the results you get from it.

it is like a mantra to me nowadays for every pain or trouble i encounter i try to seek and reflect on the reason or just ask myself or those closest to me what is the purpose behind and then i try to reflect and search for answers but just like any other philosophy it needs a lot of self reflection to come up with possible reasons or solutions, i have just started adopting this a few weeks ago i was desperate to come up with answers so that i can find peace,
