disneyA Poem by setteThe four princesses, Aurora, Snow White,
Cinderella, Belle Resplendent in their
colourful gowns, With tiaras made of
gemstones, Each of them has a story
to tell But ended up with their
prince charming A fairy tale no doubt, Aside from the princesses, There is Aladdin and
Jasmine, Faced with challenges, Great love was shown. Who can forget Arielle? She just wants to be
normal And learn to love
wholeheartedly. There are the sisters Elsa
and Anna, With the many trials along
the way, They learned life’s cruel
lessons. How about Simba? He learned about the cycle
of life, The responsibilities of
being a king Revered by many. Remember the friendship Between Pooh and
Christopher Robin, With playful tigger in
tow, Shy piglet and doubting
eeyore. I grew up with Disney
around me, Started watching Mickey
Mouse and Donald Duck When I was still in
diapers. First music heard was the
Disney’s theme song, When you wish upon a star, Sung by Jimmy Cricket in
Pinocchio, His growing long nose
fascinated me. I grew up reading about
mother-son Mrs. Jumbo and Dumbo with
his long ears, The bond between them, And how they fight off
their enemies. Who would forget the
latest addition To the Disney family. Sofia and her half
siblings, Amber and James. And my all time favourite Ends this poem of mine. Peter Pan, Wendy, Nana, Captain Hook and
Tinkerbell. Need I say more? Disney had been a part of
me For so long, That the song will always Play in my mind. © 2018 setteReviews
