Never Knowing

Never Knowing

A Poem by BlankPageTheory
"

I just talk for the hell of it, and you probbably read for some unknown reason.

"

I don't ever have much to say, even though I do a fair share of talking.

I could talk to you for hours, and never know your name.

I could fall in love with you, never expecting to stay.

I could do a lot of things, only to die someday.

...
. that unknown reason is inspiration ... you inspire as a human and you inspire as a poet ... and i agree with paul ... the last like kills very, very sweetly ...

ahh. I always like to be the first. to review a gem like this
(though I'm beginning to think all your's are gems)
but to be the first , like ruining a field of freshly fallen snow...
- the last line is my favorite.
