Nephilim

Nephilim

A Poem by SaintdeSales
"

A short poem retelling the origin of the Biblical Nephilim.

"

And the eyes of Heaven saw

That we were beautiful.

They loved our hate.

They cherished our tragedy.

They desired our envy.

They craved our lust.

And so they descended,

And so they debased

The light of Heaven

And molded within us

A perversion of flesh,

A blasphemy of spirit,

Crippled majesty,

The greatest of us all

Nephilim.
