Epilogue

Epilogue

A Chapter by blake

No one besides me knew what happened at the school that day except me.  Sure people tried to piece together what happened but they got most of it wrong.  The official explanation was that after Detective Fox stabbed Johnny in the stomach, hitting and then twisting his intestines around some major organ or something, Johnny grabbed Detective Fox’s gun and shot him in the back.
The truth was that I shot Fox in the back and in the head.  But at that point they just wanted to end the whole thing and searching for a third party wasn’t going to help end s**t.  It probably also helped that I dropped the gun next to Johnny and had already been wearing latex gloves to avoid prints.
I didn’t want Johnny dead, I loved him.  Unfortunately I only got to the fight after Fox had stabbed him.  I took revenge for my love and killed his killer.  Fox never really saw it coming, in more than one way.  He didn’t know I had been in love with Johnny Sikow for years.
When Johnny hit me, I didn’t blame him.  He was in the moment and I should have waited until he was done before approaching him.  What I didn’t want to do was what I did.  Let’s be clear about something, Johnny was not completely dead when the act occurred and I doubt he would have mined since I was going to give him a son.
I didn’t take any chance that my love wouldn’t get the job done on the first try so I made sure I had a back up.  But of course not needed, unless I decide to give the world a female Johnny.

The doctor has just brought me my beautiful baby boy.
“What are you going to name him?” a nurse asks.
        “Johnny, after his father.”
