You will remember me.

You will remember me.

A Poem by BlakeL79

You put me away,
a child's plaything.

Never leaving you,
only remained unseen.

I showed you another world,
you'd rather not have been.

You turned your back on me,
now pay for your sin.

I purged your soul,
I showed you joy.

You chose another,
but I'm no toy.

For so long I've waited,
I am forever patient.

Now you're mine again,
my puppet, my agent.

I walk with you now,
your steps are my gait.

Behind your eyes I lie,
no longer any pain.

I was found again,
finally awakened.

So long the famine,
my hunger slackened.

Sleep now gentle mind,
watch and learn, this is my time.
