We walk.

Together today we found in the fray.
Craze in the cleft, now left bereft.
Torn asunder, ideas that thundered.
Fired minds, thoughts entwined.

It wasn’t as though, we knew where we’d go.
Whatever we found, the more we're confound.
Hearken the fears, allay the tears.
Happiness ours, engorged for hours.

Off the high, released a sigh.
Time unend, never wend.
Not what we want, what we got.
More than expected, souls reflected.
