two kinds of love

two kinds of love

A Poem by blakechristine

there are two types of love
the simple one pure as that of a six year olds belief in Santa Claus
a blissful happiness full of simplicity
and then there is the one you're not quite sure you'll come out alive
so passionate it burns that even when that person rips at every last ounce of skin
you still want to be with them
the same cruel blind love
a bond not even rightful hate can form within.
