unspoken heart break

unspoken heart break

A Poem by blakechristine
"

This poem delves into the pain of heartbreak that isn't a choice but forced upon by the world.

"

There are many things written about heart break

The kind of heartbreak where they leave you and you are left feeling empty and broken

But where is the writing about the kind of heartbreak that neither of you want

The kind where you both never stop wanting each other or loving each other but the walls put up by the world are too tall and too strong to take down

Where every ounce of the world is against you two

The strongest magnets pulling you two apart as you claw against its forces in the direction of the one you love the most

The world so cruel; no understanding of the love they are prohibiting

Where’s the writing about this

Romeo and Juliet maybe

Their ending is not happy and their solution still doesn’t answer a way to avoid this pain

the world is full of narrow minded souls; refusing to open their eyes to the love before them

so again I ask where is the writing about this?

Where is the writing that tells me how I am supposed to process this pain?

How do I move forward when the only direction I want to go is him?
