This is piece is about two people in love with the whole world against them.

Forbidden love. Addicting love.

This is the cruelest kind of love to have. Full of stolen glances, whispered i love yous, hidden kisses.

Memories of his hands trailing your body as you lay awake at night waiting for the next secret rendezvous. The late night facetimes while the rest of the world sleeps; whispering sleepy nothings and talks about a future where his name can roll off your tongue in casual conversation without the raising of an eyebrow. Every minute spent together engraved into your mind, a priceless artifact. The second your hands part a feeling of cold aloneness slips in.

Questions of when another hidden opportunity will arise. Always ready to drop everything at the opening. He is your other half and without him you are lost. The world is not yet wise enough to understand this love, they reject it. In the dark it must remain; coddled and protected by its creators.

One day they will understand. For now, however it is him that consumes your mind every waking minute and dances across your pillow through the passing nights. Your body craves his; needs the feeling of his against it. A drug you cannot resist. Your mind supplies a band aid with its memories but that deep feeling within cannot be shaken.

Love is a curious thing. It cannot be stopped. Maybe it is forbidden but it will not die.
