RavenA Poem by blaekl have figured it out!, how l can swerve past the fiery darts of cupid with nothing but perfect elegance. how l dash with the wind in my rear as l seek a glimpse of fuego, bright enough to turn monsters into shadows for l'm afraid. l fear for love not myself against her for it is she that pricked her finger reaching out to my cold ball of spikes l happen to call a heart. in pursuit of forever, never caught up with an endeavor seeking a hoard of secrets ,dreams ,wishes yet to be explored , so here we are , lifeless as every breathe threatens to be the last, l chose to stand in the middle to avoid the reproval that comes with claiming a dark unfilled enclose were wishes turn into nightmares and the only phrase given to you by instinct is now or never. l will look prettier tomorrow said the woman in the mirror, shedding imperfection with every glimpse, gawking in disgust of everything short of just enough. we are not perfect, 9 toes to 10, bushy eyebrows to small cherry plumed lips. you might as well take a gun , load it with the weight of your toxic opinions and shatter my glass, let my image defile the floors with shards of ugly waiting to wound admiration painting it red with loath, how disappointing it must be to be so fragile and full of flaws.
