A faceless shadow

it is about a person's shadow,how it goes through everything someone experiences and not even once smiles or frowns,how when he was in love it was there,it shared the feeling,and it grew in their love

i am furious,

you know not pain nor sad have you been

but felt her hand ,

even sort shelter under her wings as if the sun burnt the passion we shared to ash.

yet still you linger beside me through my joy and my shame,

watched me pick up the pieces as if to steal them for yourself.

Do you forget how flesh and bone separate us,

as light and dark define us.

for in the brightest of days you stand there empty as always,

like a jar,open to contain the feelings l let flow from me.

How consuming a sight it is,

as my senses deceive me,

l'm broken,l have fallen further away from my

original as you have following me.

maybe a time shall come when you smile at least from a chapter in this life that is worth telling twice.

for l know nothing about you,

but the company you give only when darkness forgets you,

l hope you'll tell the story of the seas we sailed

which is this life on a shady vessel that is choices.

you'll forever be a side of me that embraces the austere.
