A twisted heart

A twisted heart

A Poem by blaek

Do you not bleed woman?,
your heart colder than steel ,
beats with such intensity and vigor,
its enough to beat for two.
such mental fortitude,
you put my feelings to shame.

Yet we were never too broken as long as we breathed the same air,
but now it's like helium is your oxygen,
for your words are lighter without all the emotion you poured.
so l stand to ask,
whether it's your will to love l stole.
or my reason to live l gave away,
for life now feels like sea shells ,
and every time l try to listen,
l hear all my dreams splash into pieces on reefs.

so l cross between worlds,
yearning for your love,
Another time,another place,
My actions are nothing but puppets of the invisible touch,
seduction through the air.

survival i must,
the zenith of desperation,
modeled by the elements,
i have grown opposite to virtue.

it's time i wither into the ages,
the twilight of cold winter,
for to love is to let go,
so l urge thy maiden,
make merry the coming dawn,
mortality awaits.
