Sadness

Sadness

A Poem by Richard

What is sadness?

The tear that we cry;

the heart that brakes?

The death of people

that Earth often makes?

The devastation

of a lonely night eve;

or stone of death,

built to grieve?

The bulet,

the gun,

the noose,

we shun

Suicide, tragic,

but it was their choice;

the lonely, outstanding,

left with one voice;

Maybe if saddness would stop,

We would all just give up and drop

    Dead.
