Phoenix's Cry

Phoenix's Cry

first poem in a while

Phoenix’s Cry

As all the stars

Blaze overhead

And time runs back around

Flowers bloom

Across graves

As the dead too

Yearn to dance

Soft lights

Fall like rain

From empty heavens

Where angels

And demons alike

Have come here

To play the music

Inside a storm

Where diamonds fall

In lightning’s flash

While night and day

Drench it all

In shadows of neither

The wheel turns again

As the lives of the world

Touch hands once more

To the sound of the Phoenix’s cry

Well, I'm a good ways past weird or odd and pretty solidly into the land of "I'm going to pretend I didn't see you because I think you're insane" by most people's standards. I love to read and write, .. more..
