Islands

Islands

A Poem by Lavender
"

Lies are never good

"
Hide me again
Just like a baby
I cry
When you are not there

Hide me again
Right when the sun comes
Hide me
From everyone else

I need to leave
I need to go home
Someplace I can live in peace

I have to go
Run into the light
With you
I know nothing is wrong

Islands of dreams wait for me
Lie to them
Tell them I live
But keep in mind
That the truth will come out
No secret can live
No one will believe
Believe

Take me again
I cannot take this
This is a game I have lost

Take me again
Look at this blood
I
Do not know where is my home

Rooms filled with guilt
Make love to my soul
They live
Deep inside of me

Rooms filled with screams
Cries to return home
Twist me
They eat me alone

Islands of torture await
Tell them I died
Let them cry
I cannot come back
If they still believe
I have to give up
Keep on walking on
Believe
