Such a sad story and a beautifully poetic piece of imagery. Like the shot in a movie. That one moment where the audience feels the compassion to mourn for the character with no one to mourn their death and leaves them to wonder if anyone every celebrated thier life. Great work!

this poem stirred both compassion for the life not mourned and anger at the complacency of people which are more dead I wonder the girl or the passersby who barley notice very good imagery.

A sad story, but wonderfully written. It basically captures the essence of humanity as we know it today. "a life not mourned or even treated respectfully" its so hard to believe that when someone is in desperate need of help that not one person in this world would give a damn and just look the other way. Sadly, that is how the world is today, too much greed and not enough compassion for our fellow man. This is pure brilliance. Wonderfully penned, nicely done!

Its so sad and I can completely understand it. Its probably something you could see actually see anywhere really. But it is beautiful.

Both sad and beautiful. A snapshot with a camera of the mind. Great work

The rain the glass....it sounded cold and painful. A life not mourned is indeed such a sad waste of soul and essence. And you painted a picture of this in my minds eye...making me blink a few times...well done.

The poem was amazing. I will add to my favorite. The description made the scene come alive. I like the desire of the poem. The strong ending gave balance and life to the poem.
"Now a soon to be memory
Over which pain will be felt
Causing many a mourner to cry
Or at least one can hope
One can hope"
Thank you for a outstanding poem. I like the above lines.

About
I enjoy writing Poetry about the human condition. While much of this can at worst be very sad and at best be serious. This is not all that encompasses me. And it does not represent my constant state o.. more..
