An Ode to the Moon

I always love looking at the moon. It’s so serene and beautiful.

I am a mighty light that shines above the Earth
Shadows cover me when flakes of skies defy
I am silent, I am peaceful, by my beauty surpasses all
I am the moon, that sees you all.

I cried and weep when I fall
Everyone wouldn’t notice me at all
The raging light that comes by a far
covers my wondrous beauty at hand.

I can feel your sighs, your wonderings and your sufferings
In my heart can I only feel the warmth of emotions
But no, I can never be happy
As I will cry and weep again tomorrow.

I like the idea of a weeping moon, quite charming. I think you meant 'but my beauty' And there's a tense change in "I cried and weep when I fall' not sure if that was deliberate. Enjoyed your sullen moon.
