Like a runaway trainA Poem by Alexis suzzanneWhistles blowing here it comes! Ahead is a mountain so far beyond my wildest dreams. Why must I faulter to my knees? I feel as if I'm like a runaway train. My wheels keep on turning, My whistles blows out steem across my blood stained forhead. No! I Must spread my wings and fly! I must never look back again. For I am a runaway train. Looking for something more, Not afraid of love or light fright or the night. Here I am so far off in the world as the mountain comes closer and closer. My throat becomes tight, 'my limbs weary. Almost like a runaway train. Heaven help me on my way to this life. I am all alone now . Wheels stop, eyes close and I jump.... Mountain of death ahoy. Away in the dark I dissapear into the night.. Down.. Down.. Down.. without a sight of anything bright. The mountain becomes smaller and smaller. This runaway train has left the station. © 2013 Alexis suzzanneAuthor's Note
