Flower Bloom

Flower Bloom

A Story by blackmore

It's difficult; this life. But what is difficult I cannot pinpoint with a relentless scream of silence and pearly tears. A right; do I even have one? The sickened souls around me, my dear bubbles of hearts, they glow with the energy of it, in much more trouble. And I soothe. I try to soothe. I fail to soothe. But sometimes it is I who needs it the most, despite their empty arms around me giving me no answers. This life is beautiful when you search. The lucky few find power just by glancing. But for some of us, it takes magnified visions, looking glasses, telescopes...to find the beauty we so desperately seek. And it is difficult. The health of the mind, the bright flower of thought, which can shine so brightly, and wilt just as easily. It feeds on simplicity for some, greatness for others. And if I were to give you one piece of advice, it will be this; always see the beauty, or the power, of that flower of the mind, and never cast it aside. Tend to it. Water it. Nurture it. Soothe it.
