Nostolgia

Nostolgia

A Poem by Jamie-Lynn
"

Nostolgia can bring pain just as easily as it can bring happiness.

"

Lost in this rain,

as it washes me down.

Almost no fear,

while hoping to drown.

Wandering, wondering, trapped in the storm,

I still hear your voice so clear.

And while I hide this pain,

I continue to wish you were here.

Without your hand in mine,

I know I'll start to cry.

And I feel the tears coming,

alone, under a diamond sky.

Break my skin or break my bones,

but please don't break my heart.

Wrapped in cold nostalgia,

as it slowly tears me apart.

Sometimes is best to stay away from the places that brings to light all that was lost in love. We all remember from time to time and feelings as you describe come washing over us like rain falling from the sky we are swept away in a wave of sorrow something we can't help or escape from. It is why I like time, as it heals and allows us to move on from the past and firmly into the future. Good write.
