Comatose,

a state of sleep.

Into darkness,

you've fallen deep.

 

Comatose,

a painless nap.

Away from harm,

this blissful trap.

 

Comatose,

you're not dead yet.

Just avoiding the hurt,

reality has set.

 

Comatose,

you're now awake.

With nothing left,

but a sob and a shake.
