Snow

Snow

A Poem by Jamie-Lynn
"

Based off a line in the song 'Ole lang syne'

"

And i stand alone amid falling snow,

soft flakes coming down so tender.

And as my skin slowly goes numb,

to darkness do my thoughts render.

Each little tear glistens,

fear leaking from my eyes.

And being alone in falling snow,

to the sky I said my goodbyes.

Stumble until I find solid ground,

not quite feeling the pain.

And as my world fades to black,

falling snow turns into rain.

A very god story in the poem. It reminded me of a song. A snow day can create a relax emotion. A cold rain is hard on the body and mind. A excellent poem. Thank you.
