All the world's a stage

All the world's a stage

A Poem by Jamie-Lynn
"

a saying so well known.

"

"All the world's a stage."

A saying to well known.

But if on the stage you always are.

will you always feel alone?

Watching a blood-kissed sky,

stained as the sun sets.

Faithfully keeping up your part,

while still counting your regrets.

In the night, a velvet black,

underneath a diamond sky.

Your character stays strong,

though you yourself want to cry.

While you live amid a lie,

you still play your part well.

This world, this stage, became a jail,

and your body is the cell.

We are made of lie,

we are made of fact.

And if all the world's a stage,

are our lives just and act?

If we allow the world to control our mind. We can become robots. Your poem tells a true story. I tell people listen to the media as less as possible. Few words of truth from a Government control media. Complete poem was outstanding. I like how you finished this poem. Thank you.
