Façade

Façade

A Poem by Karleem Johnson

He smiles,

and dances,

he fights,

and drinks.

He's a w***e,

he's on drugs,

he's in a gang.

He's rude, loud,

and pretty much insane,

he's never serious,

always the clown,

he treats life like

it's just a game.

But deep inside,

he's trying to find a way to hide the pain.
