The Suicide Movement

The Suicide Movement

A Poem by Karleem Johnson

The caramel pretty boy grins,

and sheds his last tear,

he always knew that it was coming,

and now it's finally here.

Fueled by the full moon,

his maddened thoughts in full bloom,

a silent screaming sonic boom,

his soul's black fire shall consume.

The bride is death,

and he's the groom,

departed souls,

he'll join them soon,

and from the afterlife,

he'll bring this stagnant world to it's doom.

Very good! it most certainly keeps your attention until the end, and the rhyming is well structured. It can relate to a lot of people out there too, even though it's more of a negative situation, it's still a very beautiful poem. Thanks for sharing!
