Frozen in my icy palace
No warmth, no feeling
Someone is controlling me
But I don't know who
Don't want to leave
Can't take the sun
It ignites my skin
Ignites a fire I can't extinguish
Another day, another lie
No purpose, no path
All the piercing gazes
Ravage my heart
No more
Continue to deny
More lies
More battles

Finally it's over
Weary, sleepy, drowsy
Can go back
To my chilling abode
Yes, mine
It belongs to me
For now at least
Don't ask me why or how
Just help me exist
I'm a shadow fading away
Don't know how long I have
Don't know how long I can persist
But if you are reading this
Then thank you for not letting my efforts go to waste
I'm still clinging
Clinging to existence
Like a fish out of water
Perhaps you'll see me tomorrow
I'll probably smile
Or I won't
But one thing is for sure
If you inquire
I'll feign ignorance
