Just floating thoughts

The waves keep drifting
The sand keeps shifting
Time keeps flowing
Winds keep blowing
Life keeps evolving
The earth keeps moving

The rocks continue to weather
The weather's getting warmer
The sun's drawing closer
It's getting noisier
Can you feel it?
The pain's getting unbearable
I can hear them
The moans and the screams

Muscles getting stiffer
Legs getting heavier
Lungs closing up
Heart shrinking
Head hurting
Vision blurring
Stomach sinking

The madness
It's drawing near
Tic Toc Tic
The story is about to end
The truth is about to be unveiled
Can you feel it?
