Ink Bird

Ink Bird

A Poem by Black Cat Fever

Feather Ink Bird
Clinging to a limb
Dark Delight
Black night fantasies
Waiting below
Sleeping souls
Marching up the hillside
Tombstones reminders
The army of the dead
Ravens and crows
Calling
Honking
Wings of Midnight
Leading their army
The waiting waiting
Waking up
Something watching
Unblinking eyes
The Dead wake
Talk fight
Ever hungry
Tearing apart
The forever night
Ink Bird
Laughing in delight

"And quoth the raven--'nevermore'." Sounds very much like an Edgar Allen Poe poem and I admire how your styles are flexible! That's awesome! I do enjoy dark poetry like this, so keep it up!

Very clever Ink Bird. Acting just like the crow it is. Dark and entertaining.

Very dark and sinister. What could be a delightful look at nature is actually a hunting look at death and terror or terror and death. I enjoyed this one alot.
