Stormy Forest

Stormy Forest

A Poem by Black Cat Fever

In the forest the wind blows
Overhead the silver moon glows
The owls call with a haunting cry
Overhead comes a stormy sky
The forest is dark, the forest is deep
Hear the bats back and forth sweep
There is a storm coming and the owls call
Into this magical realm over and over I fall

Tales of forests are always interesting to me. I can imagine standing in one and experiencing what you have written quite easily. I like this.

I love the forest...it is a magical place. You have painted your word picture so well and pulled me into the dreamy magic of nature.

Such a wild magic place, I'd fall into it too. Wish I could be there right now. Great poem!

Thankss o much.
It's been a late stormy winter here on the East Coast. The Vultures are roosted in the trees out back and the Owl has been busy hooting up the nights of late. This poem seems to fit the activity here, too. Nice write :O
