Golden Sands MysteryA Poem by Black Cat FeverRunning across the golden sands ebony, sleek, glistening in the sun overhead black birds can't understand that the day will never be done
eyes that glitter like twin emerald jewels the heat radiating from what I can be behind me I leave no clues Up ahead of me is eternity
the golden sands ripple and shift the hot sun burns on and on a wind arrives coiling and lifts in the distance I hear the sun's song
the shifting heat golden sands never end I never grow wearing of my unrelenting race I am ebony, sleek and this contest I will win I'll keep on turning until I leave no trace © 2015 Black Cat FeverFeatured Review
