A Fish In Love

I fell in love with a man.

Tall, handsome and lives by the land.

My feelings for him was long hiddden.

because from the very start it was highly forbidden.

 

 

He was a man I long to be.

A man I hope too, will love me.

It's been my dream to be with him.

To touch his hands and slowly kiss him.

 

 

I always wanted for us to be together.

That's been my wish that seems to be taking forever.

Everyday I pray to the Gods for my wish to come true.

But it seems that they can't give me the thing that I want too.

 

 

Everday that passes by I look at him from afar.

Admiring the love that can never be ours.

I know that it could never happen in reality.

For loving him leads my life into fataity.

 

 

He's got  two legs, I got fins.

He is a man, while I'm a fish ever since.

He lives in the land and I ive in the sea.

Forbidden love it is that I could never break free.

 

 

One afternoon, I saw him by the beach.

He was with someone else can I call her a b***h?

She was holding his hands so tight.

I was deeply hurt and swam all my might.

 

 

From then on, I never went back to see.

The person I love whom I let go easily.

I could do nothing, she was perfect.

I could do nothing in the least pretext.

 

 

From then on I stayed under the ocean.

Playing with the fishes and also the crustaceans.

Soon i found a love and we live happily.

But not ever after 'cause my heart longs for HIM sadly.
