whatshisface

whatshisface

A Poem by blackbelief
"

Ironically, even this poem mentions more of you than whatshisface.

"

In your time of laughter

In your time of need

When you smoothly sailed the currents in a violent sea

In cases as such,

If ever there was sorrow

Your burden was set free.

And when you threw formal gratitude

Just before you forgot to share your joy

In all your follies of forgetfulness,

It was nevertheless well received

Whatshisface was good at most things

And he held those sails in heavy rain

The kind fool dreamed of being remembered

While being forgotten at the sea.
