The loneliest girl

The loneliest girl

A Poem by blackbelief

She dances against a moon so bright,
a silhouette in grace of lady night
and in the lady's arms she cries
Many a moons and stars alike,
Cannot dry her eyes with all their might.

A hundred lovers come by, and soon,
with a hundred roses and silver spoons.
But love makes you yearn for what breaks you.
So the hundred roses what could they do?
A dry old one, still lays anew.

She is the loneliest girl.
But once in a while on a teary night,
Pay heed, you might just catch her smile.
Then hold her close and hold her tight,
And pave a way for her new Dawn's light.
